Upgrade ALREADY! No I've not come over all Jewish but Leeds City council or SSE or a Joint Venture, whatever they want to call it. Anyhow This street was one of the last to lose their MAs for Iridium as part of the Leeds PFI. What I don't understand is this street was PFI'd about 3 years ago and they are already replacing with LED. That's fantastic value for money for the rate payer! Keywords: PFI;LED;Iridium

I think I rember you telling me about the last street to lose its MAs when you visited me back in May. I wonder if they've done a structural test on these columns and theve failed either that or maybe they've ballsed up when they put them in 3 y ago

What a waste of taxpayers money. They are doing is near me. A load of Beta 5 sox was removed for 70w SON Arc's a couple of years ago and now they have ripped them all down for LED Shite...

Pointless. What Council wants: council gets and fuck everybody else. Just like near me, they are declassifying loads of green belt land to build houses for all of the scroungers despite *everbody* who lives here being against it, complaining, petitioning and everything... Fucking Labour council too, enough said!

Leeds and Bradistan council are absolutely useless! Its now taking Bradford council 6 WEEKS to do a lamp change Rolling Eyes Mad

We seem to be going Ampaera mad at the minute, yes they light the roads well with crisp white light, but it will be interesting to see how long they last?

@Liam. Back in the day of miss marple etc they used to use spotters to ride around areas on bikes and identify defects. These days with the use of moden technology ie internet, I'm sure they rely on the public to report faults - it increases their profits by throusands a year doing that!
