Yeah those look almost like the floating push on lamp holders for tubes supported by terry clip adapted for this purpose Confused Does look decently built though!

@AH: Oh it does especially if it contains a Thorn EMI tube Smile @Beta 5: It was difficult to get it off as you had to give the cover a bit of a squeeze as well as moving those floating push on lampholders Smile the same was for putting it back on but got there in the end Cool I agree its properly built

It is certainly an interesting design, I wonder who actually made it Cool Must be mid 1980's with the Thorn EMI tube!
