Converted Thorn Guard light

Originally a non maintained 4w affair, the batteries leaked & the circuit was doa, so junked it all & converted to SS using a Tridonic 4/6/8w Ballast & a potted pulsestarter. Probably runs the tubes harder than a dedicated 4w ballast would.

Nice to see one of these kept as a single tube fitting, it fits the proportions of the light really well too. I converted one too, for exactly the same reasons, but I altered it to a triple 4w fitting.
