One electrics bulkhead conversion
When i first bought the fitting back 3 years ago, it was originally HF, but it was already playing when I got it, so in the end i converted it to 22w circline. It first used T9 tubes, but it was extremely close to the cover, so in more recent times it was changed to T5.
Heres the wiring job inside the bulkhead. Not the best conversion I've ever done imo - the starter needs to be made more accessible and two wires are too short. But it works and now I have a matching clear prismatic example, I may soon convert that to circline also.

A lot of todays 2D fitting have the starters inside the gear tray, but for how often you would change them in service, their not too much of a problem here.
