Eterna 2X18w fitting
One of the first things I remember when our B&Q was first built, this is going back to a time where they sold SON lamps. The fitting here was sold originally for £40, and I remember playing up to the parents about wanting one, but due to the high price, I never got one until 2010, when I happened to stroll in during a lunch break. Immediately snapped up, i bought it back home. Its of again, a very high quality, featuring a wooden surround, and very low profile once installed. Servicing is done by undoing two decorative nuts each end of the fitting, the diffuser simply falling away.
It was installed in the shed where I store my lanterns, but in more recent times had to be removed due to severe damp issues affecting fittings in there. This has unfortunately fell to the damp, with rusting setting in on parts of the fitting, and the paint cracking on the wood surround. I will tend to that in due course so it shouldn't rust again.

It looks like the sort of thing you would see on a military or container ship. I like the low profile design.

I've had loads of people say it looks like a subway light too. I'm planning on installing it indoors under the stairs, cause the light currently under there is a pile of crap.
