Cambridge Capacitors Quality. Supposed to be a 6.5 microfarad cap. Pretty standard really. Every Cambridge Capacitors PFC that I've ever removed has been well and truly shot. Yet I've got Philips, Bosch and Thorn branded capacitors from the early 1970's which are still almost bang-on their rated values

I have found them to be rubbish too. Had a sort through all the caps I had collected over the years and ended up chucking about half of them after testing their capacitance or lack of it.

One thing they are good for is burning for a surprisingly long time if you set one on fire.

Motor capacitors. Thats all I ever use in fittings.

I have one of these in my cap collection. It came out of a window Unit. These are really crap.
