TRAC PRO42HF Control gear
TRAC PRO floodlight for 1 x 42w PL-T lamp.

Showing the supplied GE Biax lamp and HF ballast.
Interesting to note that the b.a.g electronic ballast can run a variety of different wattage lamps in both single and twin configurations!
I've not seen a ballast that can run so many lamps before!

The threaded brass inserts are not original. The front was secured with self-tappers which after a few goes tend to get a bit loose.
Using these inserts and M3 cap screws is far better :)

got one of these teac pros myself. mine's currently fitted with tridonic anti cycling gear out of a 70w gamma 6. I need to do the brass insert mod to mine as like you say the threads have had it in mine with it being opened so many times in the past.

Yeah that's one of the reasons why I gutted the gear out and binned my old one. I regret it now as I should have done this mod then. This design of flood has got some great scope for mondifications! I might Cosmo this but more than likely will go back to 35/70w CDM-T Smile
