Atlas 60w SLI/H on 58w T8 choke.
Looking at the lamp voltage and current of an Atlas 60w SLI/H being ran on a VS 58w T8 choke.
Channel 1 (yellow) is looking at the current and channel 2 (blue) is looking at the voltage across the lamp.

Current is very good! but 66V? wow thats low you could prolly run 2 in series off one 80W choke at that low of a voltage! was this taken when the lamp was fully run up? Cool

Only 2 watts off the mark tbh.

Im allways wary of putting a scope on a ballast due to the high spikes it can produce

Indeed. I use an high-voltage differential probe when measuring mains and stuff like this. Comes in handy for not blowing up my oscilloscope Smile It's interesting to see how the ballast reactance affects the wave shape and also the voltage spikes each time the arc reignites each half cycle.
