Tip find 27/05/2016
|
During a trip to Wales, to help some friends move in, it inevitably meant that tip runs would be needed. At one tip, 17 miles away, I noticed these poking out at the bottom, so needless to say I went wild with excitement. I had to have them at any cost, made all the more better thanks to the metal strip on the one tube. Thankfully they pulled out no problem, despite having loads of tubes on top of them, I was honestly expecting one or two to smash, but thankfully to my relief none were damaged.
from left to right, first 3 are daylight Osrams, the very first tube being quite close to EOL. The two on the right are White Cryselco's, the far right one sadly having a broken cathode. I class this my best haul from a tip thus far, and now, all my BC fittings have tubes, although I do admittedly need more spares.
