Philips Manufactured Sylvania Lifeline 125W/W 8ft
Unfortunately EOL, had a broken cathode. I shorted it out and it struck up fine, but after an hour or so what was left of the broken cathode blew off (I think anyway, heard a 'ting' before it went out and it could be heard rattling about inside).

This is a Philips manufactured tube, date code 7G, July, 1997?

Yep 97. Extremely rare tubes afaik they were only manufactured for 1 month and that was 07/97! Very rare

Only 1 month, wow! I thought this might be rare, I've never seen one like this and I can't find one on any of the lighting forums
