found a load of the original shape MK Albany range of brass sockets and switch plates, some large multy gang plates new in paper packets, rare as. even rarer is the dark bronze plate, found several, this is the long obsolete BMA finish that ended in the mid 1970's

Wonder what the difference is? This just looks like the old logic range ?

this will take old logic switch inserts off the grid system range, but Albany was a range on its own done in matt chrome and satin brass, all had rounded corners, the current MK albany is still in the same finishes, but more squared off of the front plate with completly different style plastic insterts. This is the classic range, hard to find now too

mainly used in hotels, social clubs, office block board rooms , mostly commercial building useage. My parents house is full of this stuff as i fitted it in the mid 90's lol

Oh I've worked on it in pubs and shit but the inserts look the same as normal logic

you can put inserts up to 1998 in these, or way back to the mid 1960's with the black MK toggle type or later 70's rocker type, they all fit, the plates never altered in shape
