Here you see the dismantled overview of the Designplan Lighting commercial grade 4ft linear fluorescent fixture. This thing tips the scales at a hefty 9 Kg!

The chassis is made from thick steel finished with a tough layer of hammered effect paint. The polycarbonate diffuser is part of the fixture and not an optional add-on.

This has an Optima by May & Christe ballast and came fitted with a Durastart electronic starter, unsure if that's original or not though.
