Unknown 8ft 85w Twin Fluorescent Fitting - Circa 1965 - As Found

Here you see an unknown 8ft 85w Twin fitting, it has a pair of the huge grey canister 85w Transtar ballasts in that I uploaded a picture of yesterday.

As soon as I get time I'll strip this down and clean it up, should come up well hopefully!

* The ballast can be seen here

* These fittings came from the same place and are very similarly made, probably the same manufacturer

You can tell this has done the hours over a few decades! I have a Falks fitting with the same lampholders. I believe they will have 'Rock' written on them somewhere.

Looks a bit of a heavy weight!..Interesting the lampholders are 'Rock' Woolworths used to sell 'Rock 13a plugs back in the1960s!
