Dead GE CFL (lamp bin find)
Found in the lamp bin some time ago, appeared to worked fine so I put it into use in my dusk till dawn floodlight. 6 months later and it's finally died completely after playing up for pretty much the whole time, sometimes taking a good few minutes to strike up. Not bad I guess, considering it was free and no idea how many hours it had done previously. I've stuck a Diall (B&Q) 23w CFL in now that came from the bargain bin a while ago (4 for £2)

Curious to see how your Dialling one goes. The one in our side garden has been going 24/7 for over 3 years now and is still going strong...even though it's looked hammered from about 1500 hours onward.

I previously had two Diall 23w CFLs in use in my pair of floodlights that were fitted at the same time... One lasted about 7,000 hours (clicky!), the other is still going strong
