Spotted: Thorn Pluslux 70w 3500

Spotted this beauty whilst at the in-laws over the festive period. It didn't work, I expected it to be dead due to the large sock, however after swapping the starter from one of the main lights (a pair of oval lamp holder 8' Pop-Packs), it struck up fine. Next time I go I'll take a replacement 6ft tube to swap over and bring this one home

Been on stuck starter at some point?

Original to the fixture and probably the house, it's very 70's! Unsure if it's been on a stuck starter. The starter that was fitted appeared dead when in this 6ft fixture, but did strike up the 8ft, albeit it took a while

...I got this today, swapped it for a Philips 70w/33. Also fitted his pair of oval lamp holder thorn 8-foot Pop Packs with electronic starters.
