Got one of these running in the 125w side of a Thorn 8' twin PP in my workshop. The other side runs a GE 100w/840w Polylux tube.

Not had one of these lose a cathode before! T8s are a different story tho

Must be a GE problem, some of the 4 foots in our stores at work have the shields in the bottom of the tube!
