3 tube comparison in new dodgy bodgey triple T8/12 fitting
A while ago I made a triple 2ft fluorescent fitting out of cheap chinese shit, poundland epoxy and a tridonic triple ballast.
Now i've made a 4ft version and have made a comparison between 3 different T12 40W tubes that I own.

Nice. That deserves to be pressed into regular use on full display. Is the bottom tube 3000K Triphosphor? I know the middle and top will be 3000K and 3500K Halophosphate.

The bottom tube is a 2700K Triphosphor. I do love the 3500k but for a halo it seems to put out some very rich colours compared to other 35 halo's I have! Wonder what makes it so special? Was planning to fit it in the front room. Keep in mind the fitting is very shoddily made though. No end caps on it.
