NVC 'Arcatec' LED driver - Opened Up

A look inside an NVC Greenland 5ft 36w LED weatherpack reveals it has this NVC branded driver. Previously NVC battens used Osram drivers, so it's interesting to see their own branded stuff fitted now.

I'm not massively clued up on electronics so I'm not sure how great of a design this is. I did notice the electrolytic caps look cheap and nasty.

I noticed these fittings in the workshop at work so thought I'd take a closer look at them before they get installed to see what makes them tick.

A quick look on the NVC website confirms these fittings are rated to last 50,000 hours in an ambient temperature of 25 degrees C. I know where these are going and the ambient temperature is probably somewhere around there in winter, much higher in the summer so it'll be interesting to see how long they last.
