4x F32T8 4'x2' Troffer
Shown with the cover removed...
This is a very common fitting here, a 4-lamp 32w T8 4'x2' Troffer. (though the 3-lamp is more common these days though)

Back when I was young these were 4-lamp T12 with 2-lamp magnetic rapid-start ballasts

----
This particular one was removed during a remodel at work in 2014, and was going to be dumped...I simply asked if I could have it. Its been sitting outside beside the house ever since. LOL never even tested it.

Very common here too, mainly with magnetic chokes and starters (like riches recent picture) except more modern ones are HF mainly consisting of 2X36W HF ballasts.

The magnetic choke version would probably last forever Laughing I believe this one has a 4x32w HF

That middle bottom tube looks toasted!
XmasLightGuy   [25 Mar, 2016 at 12:31 AM]
@Danny: Yep that one is fried Laughing the instant-start HF ballasts like this has will almost always finish off a tube with vacuum loss...sometimes they'll crack at the end too!

XmasLightGuy   [25 Mar, 2016 at 09:25 PM]
