2x 8-Foot T8
A HF fitting that even Kev might like? .lol.

2-Lamp 8' T8 slimline... it was originally one of those 8' units with 4' tandem lamps, but I got ahold of the thing and modified it to make a proper 8-footer out of it :)
A bit of a pain to do, and stuff like the lampholders (which are slightly wider than standard modern bi-pin ones) just barely fit.
Not sure what I'll do with this yet, but I'll find a use eventually...

Yes I like it besides now we have led on the market HF doesn't seem all that bad an option believe it or not, never thought I would hear myself say it Embarrassed plus in the last few years the HF ballasts seem to of improved

Kinda reminds me of a twin 70s crompak

Yeah, some of the HF ballasts aren't that bad (though they'll still never last as long as a magnetic). Then ofcourse there's the crap that gives them all a bad name Laughing

And yep atleast HF is still fluorescent. Deff better than LED!

I 100% agree, the way led is going it's really going to mess my job up in the future!!!!

I wonder how these would react on UK SS gear. Might be worth seeing if you can get a couple of cases shipped over to keep our 8 foots going.

It bettef to use 110 watt HO and Reduce cap value. Or just use 95 watt tubes in place on 100 watt gear.
