GE Red 4-Foot Slimline
Actually a pic that's a few years old, but..

GE 4-foot slimline lamp, in Red! 4-foot slimline is pretty rare in itself, but being coloured makes it even more so.

I dated this on LG a while back but for the guys here this lovely tube dates to the 1st quarter of 1950 (just 1 year after the T12 slimline was introduced heh) very nice find heh Smile

Cool lamp! Dez I thought you had one similar!

well the only slimline tubes I own are 2 F72T12/Ds I got from James a few years ago... I do believe Jeremy has one of these Red slimlines reserved for me at some point tho...

Shows the quality when it still lights from early 1950! Very Happy

These are some real oldies, and deff from a time when stuff was built to last. LOL!
I just used a F32T8 instant-start HF ballast to test them (which would be underdriving unless wired up for 2x overdrive, which would be pretty close to the proper power)

------
@LightBulbFun: F72T12/D's are fairly rare! Nice get on those!

I've also got a pair of GE 8-foot red slimlines.

I have 3 of those as well but one is reserved for Dez.
