LED Ceiling light
A few weeks ago I was over at my sister's house for a birthday party (& to help out with a few things needed done)

There was 2 incandescent lights she wanted replaced (can't blame her as they were crappy lights). The pic shows the innards of one of the new lights she'd bought as a replacement.
I'm not a fan of LED stuff like this (when it dies the whole thing is scrap), but installed it anyway.

These do atleast give nice light.

I dunno, if they have a good set of diodes and driver in them, they should do at least 10,000 hours?

It’s the modern way! Chuck it away

Its a shame they don`t do replacement trays, (they look to only be held on with pozzy screws)?, that you could at least change like you would a lamp?

Looks like a dartboard . Throw darts at it

I can imagine it puts out a decent bit of light, as its a scaled up version of the tiny diode trays in household LED A60s Shocked

@AngryHorse:
The 'driver' is those few little chips on the board. And yeah, its too bad they don't sell replacement trays, it'd make for an easy fix. I'm hoping the quality is decent, and with the diodes being spaced out a bit, maybe will help with heat issues.

@Kev: Yep, like pretty much everything these days...

@Danny
LOL it kinda does look like one!
