8-Footers .. Kev's Gonna Want Some Of These......
Not mine...this was at a garden center/shop.

These used to be 2xF96T12 slimline fittings, but as you can see they're no longer fluorescent. Have been converted to LED (since the 'camera' is just one on a phone it makes them look blotchy in brightness, in reality they were evenly bright)...but notice how the tubes are sagged in the middle? That isn't just the camera LOL.
I wonder if they'll eventually bend enough that they'll fall out???

I couldn't really tell how bright they were with the roof that lets in daylight.

In one corner of this place there were F54T5 HO fittings...they weren't doing much good for the plants since most of the tubes were EOL, one tube the end was even completely cracked off & it was sitting on the frame.

What a shame to see this butchering going on! As the for saggy tubes they will be even worse when it really heats up in there lol

If it's in a garden center than hopefully it won't be long before the humidity in there has its way with that shocking abomination!

Yep it is a nice heavy gauge fitting...back from the time when they knew how to make stuff

Deff a shame to see, as you say butchering like this, but its possible those are also the type of LED tube that's designed to run off a ballast, so the old gear might still be there?
LOL at the thought of that crap sagging more after cooking on the hot summer days Smile

Would be pretty funny if the humitity got to them, especially if they are simple retrofit tubes & the old gear is there, so they put T12's back in those fittings!
