Thorn 14W T12 Tropicial daylight

I managed to bag 4 of these :)
they are the first British made 14W T12s iv seen I know in europe both Philips and Osram made 14W T12s, but until these showed up I had no idea thorn made 14W T12s (the 14W T12 is very much a US only size the history of which can be found here :)
I suspect these where made for export, because they came from italy and the fact they are tropical daylight, which is a size we only got in 15W in the UK (however thorn made tropical daylight in other sizes for export)
I cant imagine they where particularly high volume lamps either, they came in plain sleeves, where even Thorn 15W T12s I have had came in branded sleeves
they are shown here happily running as a pair off 1 30W choke, I gave all 4 of mine nice long 2 hour runs
I still need to date them, but they have very similar construction to a case of Thorn deluxe warm white 15W T12s I had many years ago which now resides with another collector
