Sylvania F4T5/CW

here is one of my 2 Sylvania 4W T5 Cool white tubes made in mexico sadly these are not made anymore (they get them from italy now) one is New in packet and this one has had some "use" (in the pic its running in a 6W T5 under cabinet light with a couple of Jumpers I did not have my 4W SS fitting to hand)

Yes Dez, here we get the Osram Bari made tubes here with Sylvania name on it. Instead of Osram name on it.
Osram did exported few tubes in 1990s. I am glad i save few Mexican ones before the shut plant down in mexico. Sadly rest of GE and Philips are china made.

I wonder when they made the first fluorescent tubes, they ever thought they would go this small?

The T5 range came out around 1940 or so (all wattages came out at the same time IIRC) I have a F4T5/BLB that dates to 1942
