Lot of 14 2ft 40W tubes
Found this lot of 2ft 40w tubes for a tenner no way I could pass that up so I nabbed it :)

There are 7 Osrams 23/35s and 6 Philips 25s and 1 55 north light (did I buy this lot off of anyone on here? As there all tubes that where found here...)

The Philips are interesting 1982/83 date codes but solder dipped pins? When did Philips stop that practice exactly?

I have yet to test them but none are broken and the seller did an excellent packing job

Thanks Danny Smile the date code on the "Osram" is N928, there is actually a guy (hrconsult9) on ebay selling case loads of these Philips Osram 2ft 40Wers (not the seller i got the above lot from tho) i think some of you guys have bought from hrconsult9 before (apparently does not know how to pack and had a habit of mixing 2ft 40W and 2ft 20W tubes in the same case LOL)

Re 'hrconsult9' I've had several cases of tubes from this seller - 2' 40w/23's, 2' 40w/25's and 2' 20w/23's. Packaging is a little sparse, but to be fair, nothing has arrived broken. He did mis-send some tubes as standard white rather than natural, but it was soon sorted and he didn't want the incorrect tubes back. To be honest, for £25.99 delivered, that's a steal for 2' 40w T12's, I've seen them, on eBay at that price PER TUBE! If you run anything that needs a 2' 40w tube, these are a must. He seems to have loads, but that's not going to last forever - anyone with lanterns that take this tube would do well to get some! All his Osram branded tubes are Philips made (as per the middle tube in picture). Just ordered myself another case Smile

Oops, just done a stocktake on my 2' 40w T12 supply and I have over 100 already. Maybe I didn't need that extra case after all!!

Super bargain for just a tenner! I have a couple of those naturals and northlights, they are lovely tubes.
