Siemens Ediswan 5' 80W BC Deluxe Warm White
This is one of my proudest possessions. The print was already very faint when I first clapped eyes on it in the mid 70s. I didn't acquire it until the mid 90s. Now it's almost gone. From memory and very close inspection I think the text reads:
SIEMENS EDISWAN
FLUORESCENT
DELUXE WARM WHITE
80W
MADE IN ENGLAND
SILICONED
INSTANT START
2 27
The final line is an incomplete date code. Can anyone fill the missing links from the photos, which I have enhanced to the best of my ability?

Cant help with the date im afraid, but what an absolute Gem of a tube.. Deluxe warm white too. Gotta be a bit of a rarity?

Absoloute cracker. Amazing. Have you got any Art / drawing lead pencils? If so you need a 5B pencil rub that over the etch gently it should bring it out well. Failing that a standard lead pencil will do

I already tried an HB but no better. I need charcoal, or soot.

Out of all the BC tubes I have seen, never have I come across one like this, in situ or 'disposed' of. Certainly an amazing tube! And also welcome to the site!
