I have two and I think they would have a short life in use. They could never cold start and struggle to start on starters that inhibit cold starting of normal tubes. Noticeable end blackening evaporates away after starting but some remains, and they've only had a few hours' use. (I have a 4W Pink as well!)

@BC5-80: Interesting on the starting.. I wonder if they'd do any better lifespan-wize (or starting in general) on rapid-start

I wonder if they made larger sizes too? Think of this as a 2-foot, or 4-foot Shocked Shocked
