ATLAS 30W T12 Peach
This is my one and only. It's in fine fettle, since it starts readily on Quickstart without caressing. The colour's so dingy I could never use it in earnest, though.

The photo doesn't do it justice, despite my best efforts. It's actually more red.

This is a lovely lamp. I remember seeing it when I visited you a few months back!

I remember in my childhood, our local chemist was illuminated throughout by 80W BC fittings with overtly 'warm and homely' tubes. Upon investigating upwards, as was and is always my wont, I saw 'Peach'. Nice for curiosity value but never for general illumination (in my opinion, others' may differ).

Its like an 827 interna colour in halo form!

This is redder than 827. I couldn't get the camera to show the right colour.

how does an atlas peach compare to an atlas pink tube? i have a pink, but no peach
BC5-80   [25 Jun, 2016 at 09:30 AM]
Peach is orange with a hint of red, like a redder version of 827. It is a wider spectrum 'white' light for general illumination, whereas pink is narrower spectrum for effect. If I ever do a comparison between peach and pink I'll post it here.

would you think the early 80's Thorn HOMELITE tubes were a later version of peach? as they are very warm indeed, accuired some 5 foot homelites recently

lampy I'd say Peach is closest to Homelite than anything else but even warmer/redder.
