GE 8' 85W 840
Modern phosphor, ancient lamp spec? I couldn't believe my eyes on Friday when I asked at the wholesaler about the old 8' stock he couldn't shift. He dragged out a box of 85W Col 840s! They must have been last-gasp production for the likes of M&S. I had them for a song, say no more, like.

I'd love to lay hands on an 8' 85W Atlantic. Not seen one in decades, before I knew what they were and how rare and desirable they'd become.

What’s the deal on 85w 8ft? Something I’ve never really fully understood tbh.
