Fail.
Got this very cheaply off ebay a while ago so I have something to test CDM-R111 lamps.

It's a Lival Shopmaster for 70w lamps... at least that was the sticker says... and it was fitted with a Philips 70w lamp.
But when I opened it up to see what ballast was in it...
Well have a look and see what is wrong!

That's probably why they were going so cheaply. They were selling a big job lot of them and as far as I can tell this is new unused. They probably got a whole batch like this and when they tried fitting them they didnt work propperly!

LOL, ok for the proper lamps though, question is, would a 70watt HF ballast fit in it???

I've got a dual wattage 35/70w Tridonic in there now.

Yeh they are tiny those tridonic multiwatt ballasts shame they explode sometimes Confused
