Sealey "18/36w" rechargeable portable fluorecent light: Control gear. Showing the insides of this unit. Battery is a 6v 4ah and there is room for another. Only a single connection to each end of the lamp is being made. Runs the lamps at only 8w at about 12khz! One thing I think is also a bit shit is the charging circuit which is just a capacitive dropper and a bridge rectifier! Shit! Still loads of room for hacking and modding though. I plan to fit another battery and get some proper 12v 18w inverters for this.

Also try and get yuasa batteries! Longer lasting by far than these black types!

One of my mates had one of these, identical inside, but not branded Sealey. It caught fire after about a year and a half.....
