T12's rocking on in the wild
Spotted loads of these still in use in the huts at the former RAF Hooton Park airfield on the Wirral.
The station originally opened for the Royal Flying Corps in 1917 and serviced the RAF during WW2 before closing in 1957.
Most of the site is occupied by Vauxhall motors for their Ellesmere Port factory but the hangers, some of the outbuildings and a bit of runway still survive and are used as a museum and as a venue for open days for vintage cars, busses and motorbikes ect.

Might have a duff starter, duff control gear, loose connection, not be properly inserted or could just be a modern tube, some of which don't really look very dead at EOL.
