MBF still kicking.
Spotted these bulkheads at Broad Green railway station still burning MBF lamps.
Looks like some Designplan thing and the lamp in this one is a bit dim and green but it's great to see mercury lamps still in service...

Bit of a weird way of installing it over the top of the conduit like that. Most of the mercury lights I know are extremely dim or not working.

Correct, it's a Designplan Brunel. Nice to see one in use!

It's probably fixed to a conduit through box, the fittings has a cable entry and pre-cut screw holes on the back for just such a box. Is indeed Designplan, decent fitting. Probably end up being ripped out for LED soon sadly...

Yes, sadly this will probably be replaced with some Ansell wallpack or something.

Lamp in this is quite dim and green! The others were better though.
