Hotel PL-S wall lights
The hotel in Mallorca that I’m staying in has these little choke & holder combos for the main room lighting and also either side of the bed.
Nice blinky blinky startup action lol.
Sorry about the beat effect. Shit iPad camera lol.

So simple and reliable. Especially with what looks like an Osram lamp.

They have loads of cool lighting in foreign hotels! Remember they had something similar in gran dan when I went there back in 09. Triple 18W wall lights with old French Philips master new generation 840s in them

I always like looking in hotel light fittings. Not as many fluorescent lamps as there used to be but a handful of Travelodges still use Arrowslims in the bathroom. Foreign hotels fortuntely don't seem to be so obessesed with LED like the UK is.

Unless you go to China, and they were fitting LED before we were, then they were all flashing and replaced by more LED of hopefully better quality with a little less of the dreaded 'cossdahng' disease.

I saw plenty of LED lit displayed in jewellers and other shops in Palma that had disco LED lamps...
