Remains of abandoned G.E.C taxiway light.

A recent walk took me near the site of the old Speke Airport in Liverpool.
The old airport terminal buildings dating from the 1930's was closed in 1986 when a new terminal building was built near the much larger new runway that was built in 1966.
The old runways were then dug up and left derelict until the area was later developed into a business park (where I now work).
A small section of runway still exists, along with a section of taxiway that used to link the old airport with the new runway which is now the site of the new Liverpool John Lennon airport. Quite a few G.E.C ZA201/B taxiway lights remain along the section of taxiway but are in quite poor condition. The glass has been smashed and only a small portion of the internals remains. The ones on the taxiway which extends into the new active airport boundary are all in perfect condition and I'll upload a pic of them that I got through the fence.
