I’d have at least put one of those 26 watt DIALL lamps in of about 4000 lumens!

Joking apart, most of these posts top’s lamps listed in the catalogues started with ‘60 to 200 watt GLS’, so although not the power of a 125 watt merc, I reckon this will put at least some useful light out when it’s fully dark?

That is quite true. For what this has to do it probably works fine. This and the two or three others around this little shopping precinct used to burn 35w SOX. The others have corn cob LED lamps in them now.
