They always seem to put so much effort into lighting on ships and are very creative.

That place looks amazing to be fair!!!!! Look at that massive volted type ceiling looks like there are loads of Fluorescents out there!

The Trafford Centres main food court is similar to this, but its designed as the deck of a ship, the massive ceiling, (must be 30 metres in height), is painted like the sky, then its lit with a range of colour from large lighting units mounted on the wall.

I think it looks better with a few out, makes it look like there is actually something on the other side instead of just a bulkhead.

I'll be able to report next December as I've booked the other way across the pond. Going to fly to New York and get this ship back. Will be interesting to see the changes they make during the refit.

Just got back from a Transatlantic voyage on this great ship and I'm happy to report the halogens are still there after the ships major refit! There are LED retrofits in the lift and some of the landings but apart from that halogen & fluorescent rules! The outside floods use E27 halogens!
