Thorn Fata Morgana Pendant
Took this pic a while ago!
These fittings, located in the ferry terminal at Seacombe on the Wirral in the UK, features two metal halide lamps. One is directed at the ceiling whilst the other is directed upwards to a reflector which directs the light back down with no glare.
A few were obviously reaching the end of their lives as they were dim & flickering.

The options for these are 250w FC2, 70w G12 halide and some CFL option.

One of the NatWest branches near me has these though I can't say I'd noticed an uplighter part to them. Id have to find an excuse to go in and have another look.

The probably are scrimping on the lamps and only stick one in the bottom bit.

Nah I meant the entire up-lighter part. I'll have to find a reason to have another look in.
