Thorn OQ/OSQ
On a recent trip to Hawkstone Park in Shropshire, I had climbed to the top of the monument commemorating Sir Rowland Hill, the first protestant Lord Mayor of London. It's taller than it looks when you get to the top and on a clear day they reckon you can see thirteen counties from the top.
I didn't see any lighting at the top and me being a saddo I thought to myself it would be an excellent site for a Thorn OQ or OSQ projector flood... and sure enough... when I looked down... peering through the canopy of the trees was, 1 x Thorn OSQ floodlight :) (top right)
When I got to the bottom I found it in the middle of a Bush.
It's either a 150w G12 halide with internal control gear or a 1000w CSI PAR64 with a gearbox somewhere else out of sight below, I couldnt tell. Probably a G12 halide though.
It's not a 500w M40 halogen as they have a much smaller box on the back.

Bet that's fun to re-lamp, I wonder if it works?

I'd guess halogen or a smaller halide?, they wouldn't use 1KW on this?, I wouldn't have thought so anyway?

Cool, going on the moss on the glass my bet is that it’s unlit.
