Former SON airport apron floodlighting Here are the former SON floodlights at Munich International airport. This picture was taken back in 2013 and they have since been replaced with LED things which can be seen in the other photograph. These were massive floods and I assume took 1kw lamps? Very bright too.

I wonder what wattage of LED has replaced 1kw SON? One would suspect they've had to go for a lower lux level

The new floods did seem less bright, but was certainly acceptable.
