SON Catenary lighting close up.
Although this photo dates back to 2014, on a recent trip to Salzburg, Austria, I was pleased to note that there are still plenty of these of these about.
I have no ideal what type they are other than they burn SON-E lamps.
Catenary lighting seems popular here seeing as there is everything already in place to support the wires needed for the trolly busses.

I like this catenary lighting setup, very ingenious. Is there any in the UK I wonder?

Used to be on sections of motorway that I remember as a child but long gone now.
