250w Philips Lifeguard DX One nice old Philips Lifeguard mercury vapour lamp. Another one I decided to import to my collection in the UK. It has an interesting heat shield in the neck of the lamp, instead of a single layer of mica, it has a sandwich.

They definitely had a range of rather bizarre shapes for lamps that we never really saw here in the UK

They were all good quality though rich they lasted years
