1970's Hi-Fi panel lamps.
Was routing through the attic looking for something the other day and I come across my Dad's old Rotel RX-152 that he bought new in 1974.
It works but it does has a few issues which are probably just caps. Opened it up to see what's what and I noticed that the front panel lamps that illuminate the tuner scale are lit by little tungsten lamps in repurposed glass fuse bodies and then mounted in fuse holders!
Quite neat IMO!

Looks similar to the lamps you find in car interior lights and number plate lights.

These are much smaller, they are actual glass fuses with a tungsten filament instead of fusewire lol.

A nice idea these. I'm sure I've seen Techmoan use these in place of 'grain of rice' lamps when repairing hi-fi equipment before

They can't be actual glass fuse construction, fuses are not pinch sealed

1970s electronics!, I bet their more durable than today’s counterparts Cool

You should see the massive variable capacitor used in the tuning circuit!
