GE 5000w CP29 Studio Halogen lamp. Very efficient heater that wastes some energy as light. A shame these are now Chinese but still a mega halogen lamp! I keep meaning to fire this up sometime but I'd have to rob the G38 socket out of my Thorn OQ1000 which is a bit of a pain. Yeh loads of these are China now including the Philips ones sadly. You could use a couple of 30-60A connector blocks!
