Same happened to my 11w PL. Looked not far from EOL, now looks almost new after a few months of nightly use.

Whats the date on that lamp... yeah they do clear up quite well.

IIRC all of mine were from the same batch; N418.

Mine are N358 batch 05/13 and they seem fine too. I didn't think it had been in as long as November!

Interesting that this cleaned up but my 6G from LIAM never did.

some lamps are so severely black that they do not clear up, the lesser ones do after a few hours
