250w SON/MBI Geartray from SGS306 As requested. No date on the cap but the geartray itself has a date of October 2008, if I'm reading the circle dials with arrow things moulded into the plastic right. Must have been stored for quite some time! I'm thinking rip that "basic" choke out and drop in one of those great big fuckoff encapsulated 400w jobbies :)

Yessss that is what my 400W TV has! I'm surprised this has a standard choke and not a potted type I have 2 TV's one smaller one larger both have the potted ballasts!
