Thorn beta 2 60W SLI/H Gear tray view I never uploaded this well here is my 60w SLI/H converted beta 2. I have used Thorn starter holder and starter and a 65w Philips choke salvaged from an old crompack. At the time I made this this choke was really close to the 60w SLI/H specs although I may do some testing with a 50w son choke and replace this one if it runs the lamp better.

an 60w sli will overrun this choke a 50w son ballast is very close i took some measurements before nice job!

i did some testing myself with this and it was very close. i didn't have any 50w son gear at the time but i now have a nos thorn 50w son choke so this will be tested and replaced if it runs the lamp better.

the 65w choke is rated at 0.67A whereas the 50w son is 0.78A i think

I've gone off live testing and this was close at the time of testing. i plan on having a play with a 50w son choke next.
