Single diode tray version

The lantern body is quite huge for just one diode bank, but I suppose its better than re-tooling for an even smaller lantern.

What strikes me as odd with this, if Holophane have a single diode bank version, and it has to go in the standard canopy, then why didn`t they mount it at the front???, it would have looked better?

Thats what i was just thinking or in the middle at least unless they have fitted it there to hide the wiring ?, ive got one of these but the Diodes fill the whole front of it, i hate the paintwork on mine its really rough and gritty and i wpuldnt like to run the top of my hand across it! Ill upload some pics for you in a dayor two
