Philips MHN-T 70w PG12-2 lamps

NOS metal halide lamps. I plan on running one of these in a lantern I have converted. I really like the colour and quality of these lamps.

These are quality old lamps. Very rare to see in use.

The white bases are more rare Very Happy

Indeed the white ones weren't made for long at all! It looks like the shrouds around the arc tube have a bit of a greenish tint in the photo here. I wonder if these are a few of the uber-rare models with a dichroic coating on the shroud, which served to block UV radiation? You can recognise those straight away if you have them, from the iridescent colour reflections caused by the coating on the shroud.
