These are quality old lamps. Very rare to see in use.

I will hopefully have one in use after xmas in a ZX1. Got to be a first.

Indeed the white ones weren't made for long at all! It looks like the shrouds around the arc tube have a bit of a greenish tint in the photo here. I wonder if these are a few of the uber-rare models with a dichroic coating on the shroud, which served to block UV radiation? You can recognise those straight away if you have them, from the iridescent colour reflections caused by the coating on the shroud.
